T5 clutch & flywheel question, seeing mixed answers

Looking for a clutch for my 92 305 T5 car and I seem to be getting conflicting info when searching. I see posts saying the T5 has a 27 spline input shaft and I see posts saying 26...what gives?? Pick one.

Also, just wanted to double check flywheel tooth count. This is what I'm looking at, if anyone can tell me if these will work...

T5 flywheels have a 153 tooth count. My clutch i removed an hour ago is 26 spline.

The clutch and the pilot busing you listed should work fine. Of course the flywheel you linked is too big. For your flywheel you need to make sure to get one for an 87-92, 1 piece rear main seal, 153 tooth count. You're probably better off buying or ordening the flywheel from a local parts store. The last time I looked on Summit and Jegs it was hard to find the right one for our cars. Most of the ones they sell are either 2 pc. rear main seal, or don't have the correct balance. Actually, I just found the right one on Summit, but it's kinda spendy. It'd probably be cheaper from a local parts outlet. Here's the link for the Summit one, it's a GM Performance flywheel, and it's the 16 lb. one that 3rd gen Z/28's used. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-14088646/ They also have the heavier "RS" flywheel for about 20 bucks cheaper. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-14088650/
