Piece of plastic in diff

Hey guys, I have a problem. I drained the rear diff, and out rtv on it and started filling it up. I added additive and fluid and then a little maybe inch and a half, two inch piece of plastic hosing I was using to feed in the fluid fell in the diff. Do I ignore it and keep going or take it all back apart and start from scratch. It's a Borg Warner 9 bolt if that helps.

So if I take the diff cover off can I reuse the rtv gasket or do I have to scrape it off

Doesn't matter. It'll get ground up and dissolved in the fluid.
