so i was wondering if anyone knew/or has dealt with this, they seem to be only at the surface but i know heat could possibly make them worse. should i just get a new tranny?

Not seeing a "crack"; just normal casting shrinkage surface marks, kinda like if you're baking something like biscuits or whatever and you pull it out of the oven and after it sits there, looks about like that; same physical process; can you point out what you think is wrong?

Yeah that's pretty much what they all look like. Castings in general. Aluminum especially.
