89 Iroc Heavy clutch pedal
 

I just purchased a five speed Iroc. The pedal is a lot stiffer than I remember them being. It has the hyd. OEM ram cylinder. It feels like a old hot rod Zoom pressure plate. I found a receipt that the clutch has been changed and it looks like a autoparts type OEM replacement from five years ago. Any ideas??

Maybe your just not used to it. The pedal in my car feels heavy after not driving it for a while since the clutch on my DD is a lot softer

Hey Kenny, nice to see you here. We had a PM discussion on your car on the Yenko site.

If the previous owner used a heavy duty pressure plate, it could make your hydraulic clutch feel heavy. Also, it's possible that your master cylinder might need a good bleeding. Or like 86TA said, you need to drive it a bit.
