700r4 pan with drain plug

Any recommendation for a stock depth pan with a drain plug. I am looking for something quality that won't warp and leak.
It would be cool if it also has a port for a temp gauge, but not 100% necessary.
Thanks

You can buy a drain plug kit from Jegs or Summit and install it in your existing pan. Cost is less than $10.

I know which one not to buy, this Summit one: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-433886. It's a stock depth, aluminum one with a drain plug. Had it for years, tried everything and it still leaks... I'm going to back to a GM genuine and put in a drain!

I’ve been running this pan for a few years with no issues, just had to retighten a few bolts after a few years but no leaks or trouble. I also wanted a magnetic plug so I added a derale magnetic plug, I can’t remember the part number on that one though.

Those both look like the identical same pan.

I bought a pack of magnet drain plugs and some nuts. Every transmission pan I remove goes back on with the nut welded inside and drain plug installed. No more mess changing the oil.

I personally wouldn't bother with a temp gauge on a car transmission, but to each their own.

If you're going to go with a universal drain plug kit, I prefer the Dorman 65128; it has a straight thread plug that I use with a seal washer (stat-o-seal or aluminum). I think it seals better than the B&M type kits that use a tapered thread pipe plug.

When looking for a high-quality stock depth oil pan with a drain plug that's less likely to warp or leak, you'll want to consider a few well-known brands and their product offerings. Additionally, having a port for a temperature gauge is a great feature to monitor your engine's oil temperature.
