Some, I'd say if you were going to have them done get it done professionally at a company that has bench flowing ability to test how well they're improving your heads...and to have that done will most likely cost you some $$. You could always just port things to match up with every adjoining port, but the gains won't be nearly as much as the work you put into it....

Also, most people jump into porting and polishing intakes and heads when they've run out of other things to do to improve performance....get all the other mods done first, then come back to this one...but that's just my opinion.

Decent little boost. Add a cam, and headers in the mix, and then you're talking. :)

Get it done by someone who knows what they're doing if you want good gains. You'd prolly see some gains just matching and polishing chambers and exhaust ports (dont polish intake, not a good idea). You'll probably see about 5-10 peak hp with a standard match/polish job, a shop can get you up to 1.5 HP per cu/in though (or so I hear). I'd pay a guy 800 bux if he can get my heads to make 1.5 HP per cubic inch, that'd be one mean little 3.4.
