I have the 2.8l and my oil pressure drops to 0 on idle after warming up. I've been looking around but I haven't found an exact answer to my question. My car drops to 0 after warming up and idling but when I give it gas it'll jump to 15~. I looked around and the common problem is usually the oil sending gauge. My car runs fine, but when it first happened, I parked my car and there was white smoke/a burning smell from my engine. I am also dealing with a coolant leak but that's a different problem. I'm looking at new oil sending gauges for my car and I'm given a variety of parts; senders with two prongs, one prong, lights, gauges. My question is what exact part would I need? |
Re: I have the 2.8l and my oil pressure drops to 0 on idle after warming up. Yank that 2.8 out and put in a 350~ Go get a hand help oil pressure tester from the auto parts store to verify actual oil pressure and start from there. http://www.autozone.com/shop-and-gar...?checkfit=true |
