V6 vacuum test
 
As mentioned, how can I perform a vacuum test? I connected the hose of the tester as shown in the pic, am I doing all right? The tester measured about 7 psi, I think it’s too low!

You should hook the vacuum line directly to the manifold with a single hose, no tee's. I'm not sure where that line goes to. Use a vacuum port that does not affect the running of the engine.You should have a vacuum gauge that reads to 20 hg . The one you have only goes to about 15 hg. Idle readings should be between 16 to 20 hg.
