BUT I like the 17" Cragars BETTER than the TT's..

okfoz 06-20-2002 03:48 PM

I personally like the ROH Rims, they look the best as far as aftermarket.

I'll be putting Borbet "Design T" wheels on my car in about a month:

http://www.borbet.com/raeder-pkw/images/T/small.gif

Personally, I dont see why everyone and their mother busts one about the TT II's. They look OK, but not compared to some of the other wheels that are out there, and everyone has em. Save a few extra bucks and be unique :) I do like the ROHs and ZR1's though. I was set on ZR1's till I saw the Borbets.

stuart69427 06-21-2002 12:44 PM

everyone always says "that everybody and their brother has the TT II's on there car" but when was the last time you say them when you were driving down the street?????

okfoz 06-21-2002 12:59 PM

Show a pic of a TT, I'm not sure I know which rims your talking about...

doesn't matter what the wheels are as long as you Keep It Simple Stupid ;)

Camrs89 06-21-2002 01:50 PM

I like my 91-92 rims, cheaper than buying new ones.

iroc2nv 06-21-2002 04:42 PM

eagle alloys

well im getting (hopefully this year)

not my fault buggers at eagle alloys themselves are holding out on me (ive paid and everything)

anyways..

go to http://www.americaneaglewheel.com/wheelindexTWO.htm
and take a peek mine are the style #203 on the 2 piece section..

i dont think i have ever seen a 3rd gen (or fourth) or any maros/birds with those on them...

anyways thats my 10 cents 2 cents free (eminem)

American Racing Torq-TThrust II
17 X 8 Polished IROC wheels

I opted for the IROC wheels, the TT II's were slightly out of my price range. I think that these 2 wheel styles are the nicest for a third gen without having to use adapters. I also like the new chrome 10 spoke SS wheels but adapters are needed for these wheels.

IROCThe5.7L 06-21-2002 05:27 PM

I love the stock IROC rims.

He's referring to the American Racing Torq Thrusts. They do look the best on a third gen IMO.

I like the stock 'sleeper' look myself. 16x8 IROCs.

My faves are bone stock "2nd style IROC rims, but tt2's and Firehawk/Ronals are bada$$ too! Check these out...

These are not torque D's...they are painted TT2's. Charcoal metallic custom TT2's for the Tom henry SS.

Me Likes!!!:D

igotslicksNchix 06-21-2002 09:06 PM

personally, i like stock alloys, i like my 16"ers on the formula, use that extra money you can save on rims and spend it on some sweet tires.

any close ups of the ROHs?

:lala:

87Iroc-z 06-25-2002 11:23 AM

I think the snypers are a waste of money unless you have a killer brake setup to show off. Personally i like the ZS a lot better. Which is why i went with them. :D

Its funny, I like the ROH wheels on firebirds better than Camaros, but I like the Ronal "Firehawk" wheels better on Camaros than Firebirds...I like them on the other cars tho,

just a matter of taste,

John

i'd have to say a clean version of the stock wheels will out shine and get more compliments than any aftermarket wheel out there.

if you have a certain lust for a wheel then by all means go for it.......but if you want something that looks good look to what it came with.

i love custom wheels like the next one, but you just can't go wrong!

RCR 06-26-2002 07:31 AM

Not seeing a large 'bird contingent, my preference is the stock GTA wheel, in black of course.

i think the AMERICAN RACING " LE MANS" wheels were AWESOME!!! too bad they dont make them anymore.. i dont know why... some one needs to find a pic of these..

there was a guy who used to come into my work when i was 20 and had them on a 98 black WS6 17x9's up front.. with 17x11's in back.. and he had the correct back spacing.
