ZS RACING RIMS 9.5 in front, adjusting camber? Ok, i plan on buying the zs racing rims that are 9.5in wide in the front, and in back. The come with a -7mm offset. I asked this guy, who had an 84 trans-am and who had them on his car, if they rubbed in front and he said they might touch the tie rod ends, and he fixed it with a 4mm spacer. Does anyone else have these rims, and do they fit. Also, how do you adjust the camber on the front wheels of an 1986 camaro iroc-z? I want to get about -1 degrees in the front to help handling and insure that the tires don't rub when the suspension drops and the wheel is turned. Thanks. |
Re: ZS RACING RIMS 9.5 in front, adjusting camber? I suppose you could go with 17 x 9.5 all around. I am going with 17 x 9.5 in the rear and 17 x 8.5 in the front (which is the package the Group A is currently offering to fit our cars). Suppose they sell it this way for a reason. There are other posts about these, search for ZS Racing. |
Re: ZS RACING RIMS 9.5 in front, adjusting camber? ok thanks. I was thinking about the 8.5 in front, i may. The ZS racing package i saw said 9.5 all around though, and they claimed it would fit. I talked to this guy with an 84 trans am too, so you could probably get 9.5 all around also. |
Re: ZS RACING RIMS 9.5 in front, adjusting camber? I saw the other post about the spacers. I don't want spacers so I wnet with the 8.5's up front. JDWheel and Group A sells the same "package "which includes 8.5 rims up front. |
