I'm not a 1000% for sure but I think the clips and 7mm bolts for the 2 side pieces are upside down. At least all my (original) cars are the other way. IIRC..

Pull it out, clean it up, if all looks well, replace cap, rotor, pickup coil and ICM with delco parts. Not a huge fan of parts store junk. I'd also look into replacing the coil. at least test it out.

Pretty much all 87 and up 305/350 starters interchange on f-bodys because they all use the small 153 tooth flexplate/flywheel size from the factory.

I've put on a couple of Hawks 85-90 rear wings a long time ago. Fit was good on the early ones, can't say on them these days as it's been a while (15-20yrs ago).

Also swapped to a 92 wing on my 89...

I had the same problem. I noticed that if you find some ooooold stock they work perfect but the "new" stuff is garbage. I lucked out and found several NOS when needed.

They are blue on both sides of original WS6 and 1LE cars I've seen. Kind of thinking they may just been inspection mark done by the supplier. Whatever the reason, I just thought it would be fun to...

They are long out of production and the company that made them is gone too. IIRC, your headers are a bit bigger? In my research of these, there are some import 4cly car exhaust that come very close...

Yes, 91 305 tpi roller cam and the tpi heads from a 91 TA (not swirl port). The engine had a rod knocking but oddly still ran stupid smooth .
As you know, the vortec 350 long block is a wise choice...

I have a set of 305 tpi heads and cam if you are looking to restore it to stockish. Not sure if the pistons in this one are flattops like the 90-2 350s or not.

They actually started being used around 91ish. Not sure what year but the 4th gen bracket changed a bit more and the dampener faced forward. (iirc)

Yup, not sure what the blue means but i'm fairly sure it was put there by the panhard bar supplier (I put these blue marks on). This car is FAR from perfect but will look better to me with some use.

From my understanding, (i'll find out soon) the trans tunnel on the auto cars is a tad roomier than the 5spd cars and the ZF is a monster.

The cars used were built as 350 autos. So they did have a hole to cut and I know there are metal stampings for the shifter area (shown in a earlier pic) but IIRC, some of the cars don't have the...

I don't know much about the 88 and older stuff but thinking the weights have to do with the Ebrake return setup. The 89-92 PBR brakes have a TSB about the backup moan.
