Re: UMI tubular K member and Holley crossmember

Do you have any adjustment left in the mounts that attach to the k member? Your trans looks perfectly centered but my combo with the UMI k member pushes the trans too far to the passenger side. Do...

Re: What ever happened to QwkTrip's car anyway?

Alan, have you used the hydramat before? I have the large mat and it will be too much fab work for my stock tank. The one you posted has a different attachment (Non AN). Do you know if that fits...

Re: max wheel / tire sizes for third gens

How do you like them? I will be running almost identical sizing but can't make a decision. I originally was going to run a PS Cup 2 335 but it was too wide, even with my mini tubs.

Re: ls3 and tr6060 swap

Your front accessories will depend on the k member you use and whether or not you run AC. The magnum will fit fine, just like a T56. I believe BPR hot rods now makes am adapter to run a TR6060 in the...

Re: 91 Camaro rs. Rear tire size question..

Any reason you want to go bigger, assuming you still have the 305? A 325 likely won't fit without sticking out or interfering with the panel flange.

Re: What ever happened to QwkTrip's car anyway?

I third the pickup girdle. I bought mine from BPR hotrods which spans the whole flange and presses evenly on it. It helped me get that "ah it is set perfect" positive feel. Also, which O-Ring are you...

Re: 5.3 into a 3rd gen

Technically you can, but you risk busting the pan since it hangs lower than the stock K-member. As mentioned, your best bet is an F-body pan or one of the Holley units.

Are you running the Johnson short travel...

Re: Is the Hooker BlackHeart system a true “performance exhaust?”

It should free up a ton. I am very interested to see the results. Do you have a panhard rod lowering/relocation kit? You'l likely need it to accommodate the larger pipe over the axle.
