Its only as good as the distribution in the intake, and contrary to what most believe, air and fuel doesnt all flow the same thru the intake to each cyl port evenly, even through out the rpm pull. ...

These cars came with sbc engines and alot of people like them, know them well and want to keep them. There is nothing wrong with that.

Me personally wouldnt build another natural aspirated car...

It may not be the limit but its getting up there and imo, the gains from 15:1 vs 14:1 dont really start adding up considering you lose some piston to valve i believe depending on the pockets but...

Actually i think it may be the same. We used to call it offsets but now people are using off time or dead times. Probably the same thing. I just know close to the stock settings seemed to work ok...

Well if you could get into a ls3 block you dont need to sleeve it. Simple molnar 4” crank and basic 4.070 bore will do it but might want custom pistons for this. Need heads first to mold chambers so...

Holley offtimes are not pulsewidth correction values in 6E i dont believe

i basically used stock AUJL table in mine but around the 12.8 and 14.4 table values i made them the same.

Well you dont need 14:1+ to make 700 on either deal

and done right its possible to do that on ls3 heads, slightly ported with proper valve job but it would need a good intake, not a fast or oem...

Iím still mad i didnt dyno mine or run it down track. But it felt way slower than my 6.2 silverado which is said to go bottom 14ís so maybe mine was tired. But 9 psi boost made it go 13.4 at 110 so...

Depends if you use it or not. My cars always were quicker leaving it unlocked. Mph may increase some showing the hp gain of locked converter tho but the momentary drag down of the motor rpm usually...

stock type programming has lock up speeds for OD and D. This locks it ar part throttle. At wot there is also a unlock prevention threshold which is what i use. Its usually set between 70-88 mph...

Fitting near front of pan may work with a 2 into 1 drain just make sure both are as downward an angle as possible.

i doubt that, impeller speed is what it is due to rpm. If it spun rpm would spike and boost should be the same or more i would think.

you’ll just have to get it in high gear, get some speed built...
