Re: For those who pulled their tpi off to go carb. Any regrets ?

It all depends on the purpose of the car. I switched to carb, removed the a/c & heater. I also ditched the 700r4 trans for a 3500 converter / th350 trans.
I did the skinny drag wheels in front and...

Re: Thirdgen 3.42/3/45 differential

I had 2.73 gears in mine. I just bought a 3.73 gear to fit the carrier and had it installed.
Its a thicker gear to fit, but works great. This may be a option for you.

Re: Few new pics of my 87 Z28

Smart move. I know it is not much of a difference, but it is still a risk just bolting on.
I may pickup some 18x9 and run adapters on all for corners.

Re: Few new pics of my 87 Z28

Thanks for the info.
Is the rear bolt pattern still 120.65 x 5 or did you have your axles redrilled?
I just worry about the difference between the 120.65 and the 120 bolt pattern.

Re: 383 with 170cc E-Tec vortecs thats carbed wanting injection opinions wanted

What about the Holley Sniper EFI. It would be a fairly easy swap and you can run a drop base air cleaner like a carb. Self tuning and will work with a low profile carb intake.

Not all L98 pistons are the same. 91-92 some had a flattop version with 4-valve relief cut in them. Others had a small dish.
