An '87 TPI was MAF based, so the connector should be there. It is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, and looks to be paired up with the AIR solenoid harness/connectors.

WB based VE Learns need to be done in open loop. This is so the fuel trims don't take affect. Set the closed loop CTS threshold high. Can use the WUD VE display to see the coverage.

The higher the fuel pressure the more current the pump draws. A 7.5A fuse for a Walbro 255 is marginal at best. Should use at least a 15A fuse, along with larger wiring.

They are a 16-pin chip (2 of), and may be fried. Look for/at U14...
