Re: Suspension How To...

Consider LCARBs and LCAs. These will assist in eliminating wheel hop. Also, a tubular torque arm would be a plus, but is more than a LCARB/LCA set and two tanks of gas in most situations.

Re: THE Best Air Filter

They also thought TBI 305s and cross-fire injection was good enough engines to put in these 'muscle cars' so that's a pretty poor indicator of what to use on your car... :D

Re: what do you think of these fog lights??

I've had the AZ headlights for a while now. The mounts are different than the ones I got from wal mart before them. Not as stout. Check them out before you get them.

Re: Reccomend a cylinder head!

I'm going to a 350 (or 355, if it needs to be bored over).
I'm a little foggy as to the differences between the single and dual plan intakes...can someone refresh my memory?

Re: hood prop rod instead of struts/shocks

I'm not saying it won't work. I'm just saying, over time, it might give you issues with the glass hood. Might not. I'm just saying be carefull, and at least reinforce the area you'll have to rod on....

Just for giggles, hold remove the struts and hold the end of the hood in one hand. Note the amount of weight. That's what will be focused on the single small point of the prop rod. Beyond the issues...

Re: hood prop rod instead of struts/shocks

I think you may be wrong. The hoods are designed to be supported from the rear (cantilevered), so they are braced along the outside of the hood- thicker at the base, thinner towards the front. With...

Re: Spohn vs Hotchkis

I think it's a good idea to get 2-5 GM bars for the cost of one aftermarket bar. Allows you to tune in the suspension once you have the shock/spring combo in the car.
