Yep...after an extended absence from these boards I am back. Finally got enough income to put the 92 back together. 88 IROC is still rolling. Any way on my 92 the new floorboard is in. I need some fabrication & welding done by the drivers side firewall (about 6" x 6"), one strut tower and on the inner rear wheel well. It sounds worse than it really is.

So who knows a local welder / fabricator / body shop that does this type of stuff?

Best advice if you truly want to fix it is that I would not touch anything until I had a donor car or cut donor pieces from a known good car.

Those things can all be fixed but it will be tome consuming and have good pieces to replace it with would be by far the wisest way to go.

We did the drivers side firewall on my Formula and partial strut tower too. Driver floor pan is yet to be done along with some rocker repair as well.

Figure the strut tower repairs and a cut and replace on drivers side firewall, we had over a 40hr week into time wise with 3 people non stop and not counting lunches.

It can all be fixed, just be stout of heart, of wallet and of time

But I need a specific person to do the welding. Who do you know?

I don't know anyone on the side who would have that kind of time.

We can't even get together to do my car......

That at a body shop will get costly quickly

Money will get someone to do it....

Money always talks.

Talk to folks and shop around. I would plan on you stripping as much stuff as you can off the car before even taking it in.
