Saw it posted on Facebook a few weeks back by an employee of that place. Looks like they want 30k. For 30k.. I'd want an 87 5.7 myself.

That's the first factory 3:42 geared automatic I've seen. Always thought 3:42's were a 5 spd only thing. Learn something new everyday on here

After watching the video and how he closes the hatch ya gotta wonder if the electric pull down still works. Nice car, but no T-tops or 5.7.........

He's wrong about it being 1 of 205 with the 3.42s...or am I full of it? I remembered the L69 having 3.73s standard, and the LB9s having 3.42s standard in 85...and it wasn't until the TPI was neutered in 86 that it got stuck with 2.77s...

Sorry I just saw the hatch release switch in the console between the power window switches. I just assumed if it had the electric release it had the power pull down. Good to know.

In Hemmings it says that this one has an open rear end which means this car isn't one of the rare 205 with the G80 Limited slip option, J65 4 way disks, GU6 , and G92 on the same SPID. To be 1 of the 205 it needs all four of these on the same RPO sticker. I have never found out why these 205 cars had the G92 performance gears with the GU6 3.42 gears listed on the same SPID. I always thought that GU6 was the performance gears. Why would they list both RPOs? The (GU6 and G92) I have pictures of the 2 1985 cars SPID that list this combination.

Was the shade of blue different in 1985 compared to 87 88 or 89? This car seems to have a differ hue.

Yes, in 1985 it was a color code 30 for bright blue, code 23 in 1986, code 13 for 1987, code 23 for 1988, code 81 for 1989, code 98 for 1990, code 98 for 1991, and code 80 for 1992. Every year was different except 1990 and 1991 which had the same color code 98.

Gorgeous car, love the 85 only blue and to me the hardtop makes that much nicer... I'll never own another 5L automatic but that car does make my heart go pitter patter a bit, just a nice nice car!

I will never understand the point of putting an aftermarket stereo in a car with such low mileage. "May as well slap neon lights on it."

with that low of mileage, how many actual songs got listened to anyways. Examples like these I am starting to print off and put in a binder. Curious what the prices will be like in the next 5 years or so as these examples become fewer and fewer.
