my 86 z28 wont start after running out of gas for the second time
i turn the key and all i hear is a clicking noise coming from carburetor

The clicking is the Mixture Control solenoid, assuming this is an original car. Is there gas at the carb? If not, how about at the pump?

do you hear your pump running? if you ran out of gas it possible you burned out your fuel pump
