1992 RS Camaro Heritage Edition

1992 Camaro Rs 25th Anniversary Heritage Edition. This car is one of 1100 built with the black paint with the Z03 red stripes option. The previous owner painted it purple haze. I have replaced a lot of worn out suspension parts and also added performance handling parts (see list below). The car has 160k miles on it mostly highway mileage. It has the v8 305 tbi with a 700r4, it's the original motor and transmision. The car runs and drives, has a clean title in my name and have owned the car for the last 8 years, it need some work to be perfect. I just have to many projects. I'm asking $5500 o.b.o the car is worth $7000 low value and high is $16k.

Price quoting Retail prices.... lol. If only they had private party pricing.. oh wait.

This might give you some insight as to why no replies. And maybe your asking price. G/L

Re: 1992 RS Camaro Heritage Edition

Thanks for your input, lmao. I don't feel that my asking price is ridiculous. But how often do you see a real zo3 optioned car for sale or around town? Not a lot, I'm the only one that i know of that owns one in the town I live. Also I know it's just an appearance package. Do you know what it's worth then if your a camaro expert? And it's not like I need to sell the damn car, Im planing to do an LS swap in my 1969 c10 just thought it could help with the budget. Just thought to see if anybody on here was interested and I'm not the one to lose my *** on a car by putting it up for what I paid for it.

I'm not saying your asking price is not reasonable, but quoting retail prices for a private party sell just doesn't work especially on a thirdgen site.... I don't consider myself an expert but I have bought and owned 12 or 13 thirdgens and
follow the market closely. Good luck with your sale just don't expect retail prices Or think anyone here will pay them...

Re: 1992 RS Camaro Heritage Edition

I will chime in, you have a TBI auto with a lot of miles that has bad non original paint and an interior that needs completely restored. For what you are claiming, the rarity of the Z03 package, it would need to be original and low miles to be worth anything. Especially on a thirdgen site.

I hope you get a good price as it will help the overall market, but I wouldn't expect it here.
