Convertible Weather and Cars and Coffee
Made it to Cars and Coffee this morning with the IROC..
There was a good crowd and the IROC got lots of attention!
People actually knew a lot about them and there were some guys that owned them which was cool. Not too many cars, but a pretty good mix including some Saab enthusiasts who were really nice guys with 300hp Saab turbos. There were some classic Chevelles, a nice classic pickup, a big block El camino, some hot rods, a late 70s Trans Am.. The IROC exhaust sound was a big hit too.. A guy said he’ll bring his Trans Am next week if I go back..
I had to go on a little cruise through Newburyport and Parker River reserve because it was too nice out to go home. This is the first cruise after the winter and the Vert is running and driving great! Gonna do an oil change soon, but that’s about it for now.. maybe get into some more extreme detailing..
Wild turkeys got a little riled up when I went by..
And more coffee at home in the IROC mug..

Thanks guys! There’s some good photographers on here so I’m trying to up my game!
I want to get some good sunset photos.. the paint looks so good at sunset but I’m never in a good spot to do a photo shoot.. I’ll have to plan it out

Thanks, I just cropped them close and used the “Dramatic Warm” setting on the photos app (iPhone X). Didn’t do much but brightened up the photo to more what it looked like in person since the light was kinda tough..

Nice pics! The car looks great man, well done. How many cars do you guys get up there @ C&C? I go to the one here in WPB every chance I can. I like the early morning show as it doesn't ruin the day and down here it gets awful hot for a late day parking lot show.

Thanks vinny R! There were only maybe 15 cars this week, but the guy that organizes it said it should be around 50+ in the summer. This is the first or second weekend..
It was a little chilly on the way in at 7:30am but by 9:00am it was nice..

Thanks dmccain! Yeah, I tried to find some interesting spots while cruising..
Still looks like winter here.. people have been posting pics online of last year at this time things were starting to grow and trees were sporting some green.. it went from snowing to 60 degrees last week.. The foliage needs to catch up!

Beautiful car. I've had my vert out a few times but I can't put the top down because the pollen is so bad right now.

Thanks Dionw!
I’ll have to take a break when I see the yellow pollen dust on my black Tahoe..
I wouldn’t want my interior to get coated in that stuff!
No pollen right now. And no bugs quite yet.. soon enough bugs will be stuck to the front end of all the cars..
