IROC Z L98 from Russia

Hello everybody

I want to tell you little strory about my lovely Camaro IROC.
At first i had 2 cars 1982 Z28 Euro version "for parts" and 1986 Iroc Z T-top 5.0 TBI.

As result i want to have 85-90 Iroc Z look with L98.

It started in 2015. Me and my friend start to disassemble 1982 for building 1986. We want to stay with 5.0 carb and THM200C

During our work, Body of Iroc goes to paint.

In 2 weeks we take it back

Paint was not good. I was vey disapoint.

We had some troubles so Iroc went to sleep for 1.5 years. During this time i meet restorer, who took my car for building. So Camaro goes to his workshop. And he start to build my Dream!

Amazing build considering where you are and access to parts!

Wouldn't it have been cheaper just to buy one here in GREAT condition and ship it over?

Thank you, dear friend!

Tax pay wil be too high, if i will buy outside of Russia and ship it to Moscow.
Anyway i want realy new build car. Third Gen Camaro is my all life dream!
In USA it is not rare car like Camaro 1gen, but in Russia it is very interesting car. We have many diffrent US cars. Vetts C1, C2 and high, Chargers, Mustangs and many other. Many LS projects.

Unfortunatly, it is VERY old photo and this intake runners go away long time ago.
Do you think i should try to find it for my 5.7? Will i need new ECM or can use stock after instal new runners?

Man that thing started out really clean considering your winters are colder and a little longer than we have here in the states. They do not use salt on the roads? Great build!

I would suggest on buying those SLP Siamese Runners.

And my question was are you fully restoring the car? I apologize for it all being in the same sentence.
