est to hei swap

1993 chevy suburban with est dist. can i rewire the four pin connector that sends signal to tbi injectors as it sits ,no pulse please help.trying to make change do to lack of funds and already have hei laying around..

Are you asking if you can rewire a devorced coil hei to coil in cap ? The answer is yes. But some tbi manifold use a larger distributor base so the distributor might not fit.

i got it to fit with some grinding but no start no pulse is there a procedure or jumper of sorts ?and thanx

oh i see its the smaller one and the hei is in and i pour gas into tbi and it will idle for a min but die ,obviously cause no pulse lol round and round we go lol

I have no idea what your factory wire colors are . But here is a schematic showing the large coil in cap distributor.
Here is a testing procedure for the pu coil. If the coil is ok the icm can be found on eBay for cheap to get you by until you get a better quality ac delco or Borg Warner ect..

i see ,thanx for info so i take it hei is out of question do to not having some kind of interrupt circuit ,if thats what there called like abs or crank sensor with an exciter wheel type of thing ?...my old dist was plumb wore out ,original to truck
