Re: 1990 IROC-Z 1LE

I would have thought the IROC-Z emblems and "5.7 Tuned Port Injection" emblem would have been silver instead of red with the silver "IROC-Z" on the door..

Freaking love the car though...

The later year IROC-Zs had the primary color for the emblems.

Re: 1990 IROC-Z 1LE

Did 1LE delete door moldings or is this a re-paint?

Looks really good for 40k miles but would think the price would be more like $28k. Don’t the super low mile ones go for $40-50k?

This looks like one you could cruise around in as opposed to the museum 1LEs that pop up..

The Moldings Were Part Of Optional Preferred Equipment Group 1,2 or 3 Which Also Included A/C. This Car Has No A/C So No Moldings..

Re: 1990 IROC-Z 1LE

Maybe this is a dumb question but I've only recently started really digging into the history of our cars but did these not come with a radio?

Not All Model's Did,A Radio May Have Been Standard On The Z28 But Optional On The Sport Coupe On The Early Year Model's, But A Radio Was Standard On All Later Year Model's.

My white '89 has red emblems that came with the white/red&black stripe combo.

Re: 1990 IROC-Z 1LE

You are correct. I should've clarified my statement. I was referring to the red car that was mentioned before my post. There were multiple colors available for the white cars based on accent color or interior color.

That's a great chart! Cool to see it broken down like that.

Re: 1990 IROC-Z 1LE

I've always felt the body line was too soft on these cars to not have the mouldings - doesn't look right to me, probably because I've spent the last 20 years looking at my car, which has them.

Beautiful car though, a 1990 1LE is going to go down as one of the most valuable.
