Wheel Spacers
Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find anything searching. I have a 92 Z28 and I'm putting 2013 Grand Sport wheels on it. I purchased a set of hubcentric spacers of amazon ( ) however, they don't fit the front hub/rotor assembly. I posted this issue on a facebook group and they said to use lugcentric, but I wanted to check here as well.
Also, does anyone know a website where I can get different center caps for these wheels? They have the factory caps, but those have the corvette flags. I would like to get some with red bow ties.
Thanks for any input.
Jamie

Re: Wheel Spacers
simple search would help some hubcentric adapters don't fit due to design and don't clear hub so some adapter need to non hub centric which doesn't have hubcentric lip ring

Re: Wheel Spacers
I challenge you to find a thread confirming that a hubcentric wheel adapter will not fit a 1992 factory hub and only lugcentric adapters will.
Please let me how that "simple search" turns out for you. My post begins by establishing the fact that I have searched for something covering this topic, but I could not find anything confirming my specific situation. Thanks for your post, but if you're going to be condescending, please keep it to yourself.

Re: Wheel Spacers
I ended up purchasing from adaptitusa.com. They're a bit pricier than what you can find on ebay, but I'm happy with the fit and quality. The build each set specific to the car and the rim you are mounting.

I never stated you know nothing, but I did notice that you didn't post a link to a thread answering my specific question. Thanks for the link, but I went with adaptitusa.com.

Re: Wheel Spacers
I found some that had the correct bore and hub size that fit my corvette wheels. Can't remember excerpt size
This is what the new wheel spacers looked like compared to my old ones. Changed them when I bought the new wheels

so you can either 1. return and get non hubcentric adapter 2. machine area to enlarge ID in that area 3. as posted above spend a little more to get custom adapters made or premade ones with the correct ID and retains Hubcentric ring
4. try to search for cheap ones which are few and far between
so long story short if adapter looks like the one above then you will have clearance issues unless there thick enough to clear the hub then don't need to worry but IIRC anything under 2" will have issues
