Hey guys, I was wondering if it was possible to put a 5" spoiler on a trans am. I have a 4th gen spoiler currently, but the car needs to be repainted and I like the idea of being different. I've been scouring Google and this site but I can't find any pictures of it done. I was hoping someone could help so I know if I'd make a bad decision

Are you talking about modding a factory taller or going the ***** route? Please don't say ***** route.

I'm not sure which is the "******" route but I'm talking about the Hawks 5" spoiler.

I think it would look weird since the Camaro's tail light wraps around and meets the angle of the spoiler but a trans am's tail light doesn't.

You're wanting to do that on a fourth gen? The ***** is "r eye see er" route, the forum is censoring that word. Maybe it is offensive to some but on this board, really?

oh jeez I can't believe that's censored! I didn't mean any confusion, I have a 87 t/a with a 4th gen spoiler. I just edited my post to fix that confusion lol .my bad
