The build sheet doesn’t list “B84 Body Side Mld” like other build sheets.
Is it possible it was ordered without them?

I guess I need to spend more time looking at Heritage cars... The photos of other black/red heritage cars on Google seem to all have the red Z28 badge on the back bumper. Most have the red accents on the wheels, that I was kind of surprised this car didn't have. Guess I really just don't like Red. Who knew.

Shouldn't there be a cap over this bolt?

I was thinking the same thing about the caps..
All the IROC build sheets I looked at had body side mld listed except this one:
here’s a 1990 IROC:
Here’s this car:
...but as I’ve learned trying to figure out what build sheets mean can be futile.
It also looks like the door edge guard might be missing, but it’s hard to tell in the photos.. Did they get rid of those in the 90s?
Also looks like heritage Z28s usually have red wheels from what google is showing me.. like Drew said
I entered the VIN and found an ad saying they wanted something like $15,800 for this car.. same pics..

Guys - For 1992 Red wheels were standard on the Heritage edition cars, however,
RPO 17 could be specified to get Silver wheels, my old 92 RS Heritage had RPO 17 Silver wheels

would need to see the car car in person to determine for sure if it’s a repaint unless there’s another glaring obvious clue that was missed

From looking at the pics of that black 92 vert, IMO, it has been painted, or at the minimum, has had paint work done.....just my opinion

I wouldn’t be surprised, but there’s not enough evidence for me to say for sure.. I’d carefully check the car out if they claim “they don’t know”

pics hide a bunch of stuff and seeing it that much in the pics is saying something for sure.....plus it's at a typical "used car" lot.....that also says a lot

Not to swipe the thread but this puppy reminds me of this for sale up here.
In janqui terms $8,972 at 101,240 miles.

Probably pretty nice in person since the guy is a self-proclaimed Camaro nut- but “amply” priced like an enthusiast would too.
