1983 Trans Am WS6
So i picked up this very nice 83 TA WS6 recently with the bowling ball hubcaps!!!
I'm still trying to asses how i'm going to set this up "paint" as it is SOOO FUGLY.............
Anyhow if a moderator is reading this can you please fix the 1983 firebird tech board as it isn't working.

I was looking to see how many ws6's were made that year.
I'll post better pictures once i take some myself. The wheels will be auctioned off.

Hello. I am very interested in buying your wheels. Please let me know if we can work something out. What is the overall condition of the wheels? Thanks so much! Hope to hear from you

@@battmann The car was red and black like my 82. I would like to do that color scheme but probably just take the grey down to where the factory stripe should be. Get rid of the red stripe.
@@LeonardS thanks. The paint quality is fantastic, top and bottom.
@@WS6firebird thanks for your interest. This is the second set of these i've had my hands on. My red 82 came with the 14" bowling ball wheels/caps. Now these new ones are 15"x7". The wheels have been refurbished, powder coated and, clear coat. They look FANTASTIC!!! The bowling ball hub caps are refinished and look almost show quality. The pontiac logo's look brand new but i'm not sure they are oem. I will be asking a little more then what i see them for sale online. So maybe starting bids at $1600 for the wheels and $1200 for the bowling ball caps but, i'm open to a package deal for it all with the right offer.
Am posting some high res pictures but they still have the tires one them. Today i went and had the tires removed so it's easier to ship. I was careful to not get them damaged when the tires were removed. I will get pictures tomorrow with the tires off.
If you right click and save these pictures, you can open them locally on your computer and zoom in on the pictures. The last pic shows the one blemish i would point out.

Seriously the paint is amazing. The stickers were laid down before the clear coat and sanded smooth so there is no edges. The bird on the sail panels and the T/A stickers on the fenders look awesome and perfectly smooth. The red stripe UNFORTUNATELY looks like it was reflective tape with gold glitter splattered on it. It's also under the clear coat and smooth edges.
So i think i will probably try and re spray it. I have all the parts for it already including 383, t56, strange 12 bolt, wilwood all around with hydroboost, complete spohn chassis including k-member, speed hut gauges, etc..

Speedhut gages?
EDIT: I'm an idiot and missed it says speedhut on the speedo. That tach is cool. My dads car has speedhut gages and they have been great so far. It's really cool that you can customize the faces like that.
