That looks like a pretty decent car. I've seen 86 verts with the third brake light removed from the hatch and mounted on the top of the trunk lid after the conversion, so at least it doesn't have that!

I don't know. It's before the official factory convertibles, but it's an ASC apparently made to 1987 standards.

Interesting, rear spoiler looks aftermarket with that unique third brake light. Or did ASC modify the original spoiler to mount the third brake light in their

Wow, I did not know that! I don’t think I have ever actually seen an 87 vert in person. Plenty of 88 and up cars but never an 87. On this site for 16 years and I still find details I never was aware of. If I had seen that brake light in person would have declared it an aftermarket part.
