1985 Trans Am Isolation Relay Pigtail

Hey guys! This is my first time posting on the forums. I have a 1985 Trans Am that I bought and I’m rebuilding. Body was clean, but quite a lot of electrical problems, and some mechanical. So I’ve ran into an issue, the previous owner cut out the pigtail for the isolation relay out. from what I’ve read, the pigtails are the same as the two headlight relays. But I cannot find anywhere to purchase just the pigtails, and I don’t need to purchase an entire headlight harness. If anyone body knows where I could get one that would be very helpful. I’ll also add a picture of the pigtails

You have Two different Connectors shown in the Image, which one are you looking for?
I will at least take a look around for you as we worked in this circle.

Both of those Connectors are unfortunately long discontinued...
I do have Connector Body and Terminal Part Numbers for them, but I do not believe they will do you any good.

The Scrap Yard Search would be your best bet for sure.

Otherwise a re-wire would be in order.

It is both of these connectors that run into the relay. I believe I found the correct part numbers from the owners manual. They are 12020013 and 12020014. I haven’t had much like finding any, but I did see they were used on both early C4 Corvettes and Fieros

There is a guy who makes replacement isolation relays. Its a sealed unit you hard wire in. His name is rodney dickman. His website is Rodney dickman.com. You can get the new relay that is sealed and eliminates the plugs. I purchased one years ago as a backup for when mine has an issue. Head light parts for these cars are an issue. I jump on the parts when I see them.

I would just Update to modern Electronics with Two SPST Relays in one small sealed enclosure:

And I would recommend a read through a Thread on a DIY solution in this Hyperlink

The one I was recommending is a more modern sealed unit. But are you saying use 2 relays, one to power the head light motors and one to power the beams?

No.

The Isolation Relay is a Double Pole Double Throw Design...

Two Single Pole Double Throw Design Relays together will operate the same as One Double Pole Double Throw Relay.

So essentially everything stays the same in terms of operation.
