What is wrong with your 89 RS?

 

i am just looking to get another one. My 89 is a daily driver so i cant get in to deep with it and with my new job i have time after work to really dig in and do more that the basics now. So mostly i want one that i can work on and it is no big deal if it is in pieces by Sunday night.

 

I know one for sale in college station for $400. Looks like he rearended somebody and front bumper is crushed. looked like 91 or 92 z28 with red interior and auto. I'm going to look at it today to see if it's worth getting and how it runs. I think it needs to be saved

 

plz let me know and give me the number it would be perfect for what i am looking for

 

i went to look at the car today, a friend of mine is interested in it but not even 50% sure. Here are some pictures. As soon as my friend decides i give you a call. The pictures might scare you away lol.And also i have a question to everybody, how much work would it take to fix the front end? Also i looked at the vin number and it lookes somewhat wierd to me. Also looks like hood been replaced because sticker on it states 2.8l v6 while everything else points to 305 TPI

the floor in the back, carpet is basically gone. I try to feel for rust, but it doesn't looked like it rusted trough yet.

front view, i drove it around the block and front bumper scrapes on every dip:

hood doesn't close properly, and hinges are loose:

also i got a video of the motor runing, and driving it around felt pretty decent. The oil pressure on stock gage was showing 30 psi, i will do compression test tomorow.

ok, unfortunately owner can't find the title and have to get a new one and looks like my friend is really on to that car. Sorry, i didn't realize he would be really interested in it. I seen a bird for sale at one apartment complex not far away, it had a v6 and looked pretty rough, not as rough as this z28 tho. i will take a look at it in the next week and see how much it is. Again, if i knew my friend was going to go for it i wouldn't have posted it here

i don't know if you are still loking but i found another camaro. looked like 86 model with carbed 350. no body damage but paint is faded. Been siting sense 1997 but runs. Asking price is 800

Is this car a black Iroc? If so I think I saw it on craigslist, I emailed him, but recieved no response. I am no longer interested but that car had a straight body if its the same one your talking about.

 

It's red and looked like a sport coupe. For some reason i have luck with finding red cars.
