the plan is to meet at the braums in hillsboro between 10 and 1030AM, visit for a bit, and hopefully pull out between 1045 and 11 to continue the drive to Georgetown

Yea, I read the main gathering thread again and saw it in there too. Got to find a way to justify the trip though. Sucks being a broke college student and paying butt-rapingly high gas prices. Add the fact that the Friday after the meet I'm going home to Houston for summer break. Tough call.

That explains why I haven't been able to get you to attend the 3rd gen statewide gathering in Georgetown. You need to get more sociable and show off that sweet 92 Formula.

I'll get to it eventually. I really wanted to be further ahead with the car than I am now. I've got tons of parts ready to go on it. It's also not running worth a crap right now. I did an injector test and many of the injectors are reading anywhere from 11ohms to 19ohms. I've got a set of them ready to go on the car. I'll probably tackle that this week / weekend. I'm also building a 383 engine for it, but that's put on hold while I try and buy a house.

I've also got the original 91 / 92 Formula nose to go on it. Though I've got to get it painted.

I've also got a power bulge hood to go with it as well. I'm not sure which hood I'll end up staying with. I like the hood that's on there now, especially with the black stripes. That really helps break up the yellow paint nicely. I'm not sure I'll be happy with the current hood though after I switch back to the factory 91/92 Formula nose. Hence the reason I've got both. I'll test them both out and see which works best for the 91/92 nose.

I've also replaced the shifter with a B&M ripper, new shift ****, (SLP leather), Grant GT steering wheel, new door seals, spare set of T-Tops, I've got that black hatch plastic with the cut outs for the storage cover / pull down shade. I've also done all the suspension links, urethane bushing, and a new rear sway bar. Oh, the starter gave out on me so I replaced that with an LT1 mini-starter. Lots of work done but there are so many more things I have to do.

Eventually I'll strip her down to her bare chassis and repaint the thing. I'll go in with new / refurbished interior parts and the new 383 engine, suspension, radiator, etc. I'll probably do a TPIS Mini-RAM for an intake. I'd also eventually like to slap a supercharger on it. These are of course plans that I won't see come to fruition for sometime, but those are my eventual goals. When I have it all done, I hope for it to look pretty much like it does now, except show car quality. (With the correct nose.) The interior will pretty much remain the stock interior. I will go in with fourth gen leather seats though. I may do some custom Firebird logos on the headrests or something like that.

big news for DFW!

there's a major TV network that is filming the next NTTGA meeting to get footage for a new series that is in development. Sorry I can't say more than that, but they will be at the next NTTGA meeting,. which is this sunday, February 10th. the meeting is at 2PM in north Dallas off of 35E,

Join us for the March NTTGA meeting a a NEW location!

We are going to meet at the GREASE MONKEY, which is 5 minutes south of I-30 in Arlington. Good food, good prices, and a car themed restaurant, who could want anything else?

Let's meet at 4PM to 6PM on Sunday, March 10th, and go until we get tired of visiting. the grease money has Live Music during those hours, so it should be a blast. Clean up your third gen and bring it to the meet, but of yours isn't up to the drive, just come anyway and visit with the rest of the club.
