Re: Fellow Kentucky Folk....REPORT!!
Bringing this thread back form the dead. Lol. I'm reporting from LaGrange, about 20 miles north of louisville. I'll be picking up my first f body on friday..92 RS with a 305 and manual transmission. Recently was a member of the Rx7 Club..but sold my seven and decided that I wanted something with a little bit of torque.
Would love to see a third gen club in this area...I'm a newbie when it comes to working on piston-driven engines....so I may need lots of help later on!

Re: Fellow Kentucky Folk....REPORT!!
Cambellsburg reporting in. Lol. Seem like us KY F-body owners are few and far between on the board. I've been lurking a while, Just got my first Camaro a week ago. A teal green 1992 Rs with a 305. 5 speed and T-Tops though! That was the most important thing to me while searching. Shes going into paint in the next week or two, and I should get her back in three weeks. She'll be Sunset Orange with Stripes on the hood!
Just wanted to bump this up, introduce myself and say hi...Pics to come soon.

Welcome to the board.
Well, your not to far from quite a few places. About any direction you go in is a large town. E-town, Richmond, Lexington, Bowling Green and Louisville. I have been through Danville several times.
Unlike down here in London. Although, I am closer to Tennessee and the Carolinas.

Re: Fellow Kentucky Folk....REPORT!!
If I could ever get some time off work and things done to the house, I could get the camaro back on the road. A days work and a days wash/wax/shampoo is all it needs.
The trans was acting up in my DD (Jeep Grand Chreokee) so I had to work on it. Always something else to do!!!!
If we started planning now, maybe we could put together something in the spring. lol

I know were McKee is at. I use to work at the old Mid-South Electronics back in the early 90's.
Welcome to the board. Great looking car. Do you run at London Dragway or over at Clay City? What kind of times and specs on that motor?

Re: Fellow Kentucky Folk....REPORT!!
My in-laws live just up the road from the old Mid-South.
I usually go to Clay City but tomorrow will be the 1st time at the track for the car so I have no times yet. I just hope it doesn't rain.
Its a forged 13:1 357 w/ Callies crank, Manley rods, JE pistons, Dart Pro 1 heads, Comp cam solid roller, and a few other goodies.

You should have a solid low 10's or mid 9's just guessing. Let us know what kind of times you get. From what I have heard from other racers, you will run a tenth faster at London. I have never ran at CC. I have a friend that runs name Billy Robinson. He helped me with my motor.

You know what not this year. I took some parts over to sell and was afraid it was going to rain, but it didn't so I didn't get any pictures. there were several third gen's none of them were much special. Rod run is usually more 55-80ish cars

Hello! I'm in louisville, KY. Dont know why i'm just now thinking about checking for members in this area. I'll be checking out the kyFbodies unlimited forum soon. If you all still try to put together a KY 3rd gen gathering, i'd be interested. Depending on how far it is from louisville is whether or not i could go.
