Maybe it was just that 99.9% of buyers were smart enough to Opt for a TPI? Beats me.

Re: Florida Panhandle! Who's here?
Finally got my Batmobile back on the road after getting a loose and corroded connection on the starter fixed! I have to wonder who I've seen on the road from this group over the years. Question - anybody know of a good body shop in Panama City to repaint my white steed? Not looking at anytime soon, but am looking sooner rather than later. Thanks!

I hear a lot of good about Eddie.. he is slow but the good ones usually are. I had a rough time with Elliot Brothers on my truck, but in the end they made it right and did a great job. I would have had them shoot my car if they weren't too busy to meet my schedule.
I noticed she was parked outside again.. been wondering where you were hiding it!

Re: Florida Panhandle! Who's here?
Well guys, I put mine in a local participant vote show with about 90 cars and 60 trophies and didn't get one LOL. I quickly learned that car club members generally vote only for cars in their respective clubs - regardless of how crappy they may look. Looking at various winners, it's a good thing I didn't spent $5k fixing up my paint and interior just for winning trophies. I could have spent $35 on a membership and won 100 trophies with it like looked three years ago just from fellow club members' votes. What a joke!
After a disappointing car show experience, I changed gears and went to the drag strip Sunday where my car would only muster 8.30's and 8.40's. She was protesting Saturday's fiasco at the car show I guess. I should probably get to work on that ZZ3 build!

Nah it was the 'school is cool' one at oakland terrace. I was gonna get in the mall one, but it was also a participant choice show so I said screw it. I'm going to put it in Friday Fest tomorrow night I guess.. see how many scratches I can pick up there!

After the overflow of rice last year led me to go watch Stummp wash (believe it or not) the Turbo Z06, I didn't waste my time even driving over. No suprise they you weren't part of the gheyed out car club circle jerk. If you think that show is lame, try the Mopar GTG at TGIs.

Re: Florida Panhandle! Who's here?
Yeah.. well i knew it was a TOCC show but the voting was done by all participants. It does suddenly dawn on me though that Outlaws won the club participation award, and 95% of the winners were TOCC and Outlaws. Circle Jerk is right.

Got your message, was tied up all day at the RC field with my helicopter. I always calculate about 18% for auto. Pretty impressive numbers when I heard them.
18% would put you at 245 crank hp and 327 crank tq
15% would be 237 crank hp and 315 tq

Lee here in Milton Fl can anyone tell me why my Berlinetta stops reading the correct speed when you hit 85 it just starts flashing 85 and will not show real speed when it will go a lot faster just wont show how much faster . Its all factory down to the smog controll with the factory V8.

because when it was made they only wanted to put max speed at 85 mph if you can flip it over to kmh then it should still go up

There is a Gathering in late July coming together over in Cocoa Beach FL. The thread is in this section. I'm hoping to attend that, but plenty of obstacles may be in the way.. after all it is tropical weather season!
Wish I could have made G15. I think.

Re: Florida Panhandle! Who's here?
Wish I could have as well, but I had some work around the house and it was 4 hours round trip. Nice cars and a good turnout.
For the third day in a row I've seen a red 87-90 Trans Am GTA, red with gold wheels and in great condition, heading south on 85 towards Ft. Walton/Eglin AFB. Is that anybody on here?

Re: Florida Panhandle! Who's here?
Since this thread is for members in the Panhandle, I figured one you guys may know a of place near Pensacola that can dyno tune a 91 Pontiac Firebird with a 305 TBI.
Any advice regarding tuning a 305 TBI would be greatly appreciated. I wish I could find a shop to work on it but they all say it is either too old or say they can and simply fail altogether.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I hope I can make this one.. will be cutting it close depending on money supply to get the rest of the parts together for this engine. I am currently masking off the engine bay to paint the firewall next week. All I have left to get are pistons, rings, cam, springs, bearings and gaskets.
