Re: Winston Salem NC
I am thinking of going to hot cars hot nights in Pilot this weekend. Anyone interested?

If anyone is close to this you should go. This is great fun with lots of cars and other things to see. No charge and live bands usually. 76 for a high temp and zero chance of the r word, if you believe the weatherman.

So if Anyone sees this I'm leaving within the next Hour and a half.
I drive an 87' White Iroc with a loud exhaust.
But anyways I live in East Bend, so if anyone ever wants to meet up sometime Im up for it.

Not an FBody owner (though I'd love to have a nice early-mid 80s Firebird someday), am a GM/Chevy guy, live in Greensboro, not much of a drive for me to get to W-S.

The last hot cars hot nights cruise in for the year is this weekend. I should be there after lunch. I'm usually parked near the stage as most of the good spots are taken when I get there. Drop by and say hey if you have time.

Plan change. We have a funeral to attend. Probably be in Pilot around 5 or 6.

Hey J,
Dropped you a PM (don't recall off-hand what the rules are about posting openly about other shops that aren't sponsors).

Re: Winston Salem NC
sonjaab, I believe they were bought out by Flow. Roger West was on Strattford Road some years ago IIRC.
jdawg, there is a friend of mine whose last name is Beasley in the King Capella area who is good with trannys, especially GM. Don't have his number but the shop name is M and D. Nance road in King. Ask for Melvin.

Re: Winston Salem NC
Yes J, that's the area.
sonjaab, you're welcome. I used to work at Modern in the late 80's. They were the other Chevy dealership in Winston. Flow and Modern are still in business but I know Modern has moved and Flow may have as well, never really looked for them lately.
