No, I think it's too early for that yet. Whoever runs the event will usually post in here about it and have a link to their website.

But typically it's a 4 day event Thursday-Sunday. In the past, Thursday and Friday have been track days at Darlington and Myrtle Beach speedway, Saturday is a cruise-in and Sunday is the car show. At least I think that's how its all done. It's been a few years since I've been able to go.

The Fbody week show is Saturday usually at Inlet Square mall. Cruise in is usually at Berkey's on the North end of Myrtle Beach around 38th Ave North IIRC in conjunction with Myrtle Beach Car Clubs weekly Cruise in Friday evening. Berkey's is like an old style burger joint with lots of room to park.

Anyone going to Pilot Mtn for their cruise in this weekend?

BlackTop, Myrtle Beach car club has a cruise in every weekend. Cold weather months it's on Sunday IIRC but during the summer it's on Friday evenings. F-Body week is in July. Pilot Mtn cruise in is the first Saturday of every month from May till October. I should have started a thread on it just haven't done it yet. I wanted to go to Pilot this weekend but with the weather iffy and work piling up I stayed home and painted a Miata so there would be one less project laying around.

well the way its looking i sould have her running by the end of this month if everything goes well i got off this sunday so i was able to go pull out the engine of the iroc to put in my rs but im leaving it out will i clean it up and everything while looking at this TPI closely i have fell in love with the set up lol

working on something for us, for our next get together and am going to shoot for first weekend of June.
may is just becoming way too hectic with all the bike weeks, and shows. you would imagine it would just be of fun, but in some ways more work.
but I am very much dependent on doing well at these, because a lot of times I get most my work from these events.

Seem like alot is going in the firat weekend so I was thinking the 2nd or 3rd....almost like tge idea if every 3rd of each month, n like I said before start looking to rotate it now that xharleston, columbia, mytrel and more are on the grid too, but I also am workin on looking to local events to get involved with as much as the meets.

And @Irocgraffiti, im thinking your right....should officalize this n make something of it...i mean, shoot even if it was just me....in my mind, im already there with my Trans Am Saturdays...
Almost everyone who knows me, know where n what im doing...lol...unless im pressed with work n even then, I still try to get that me time.

Hey guys, the Camaro's for Heroes show is comming up in June. I went last year and really had a great time. I know it's a bit of a haul for ya'll from C-ton but it's track test and tune time as well. Scott Settlemire was there last year, he's always entertaining. Ya never know what he might bring with him. And the proceedes are for a worthy cause.

has anyone here in charleston done a brake upgrade to the late model rotors and caliper. i was looking for some help on where to take the rotors to get turned or if there is a car i could see in person to get a better idea on what to do

elite, I'd check on new rotors verses turning them. They are pretty cheap now for the most part.

Anyone seriously thinking about Fayetteville next week? I am planning on headed up on Saturday just for the show but if someone from the area wants to go earlier my schedule can change. Also spoke with Scott at ATL and he definitely is planning on being there. Hopefully the weather will be better with all the nasty stuff going through this weekend.

Blacktop, maybe we could do another chapter of Camaro south but that doesn't work too well for the Birds. I'm sure they would make exceptions. They just have different skins.

Just to me, Firebird/Camaro united and if there was a camaro focused event such as the NC one your talking about. Us bird guys just get to catch a ride in the Maros or still go and Spectate. No matter what the love and support is the same Cars and members.

In the past when i did WickedConcpets, there were VW guys who were die hards and did all kinds of extra VW related things...They still went and particapated as WickedConcepts...same for us...

I mean one day i am doing the BAndit Run (expecially now that they let any year TA in), Ill def put car in to support us, but hey...i dont what ya to miss out on the fun because you drive a camaro...so ill pick you up and you can Co-Pilot

anyway, i got good news for everyone, but really am exhausted...between work, HVAC crap in the attic and the 4hours of sanding...i can barely lift my arms to wash my hair let alone type anylonger...

Tazz, blacktop or anyone else that may want to go, I'll be headed to Fayetteville Saturday am for their Camaros for Heroes show. It was a lot of fun last year and the weather looks great this year. If you want to ride or follow call or send me a pm and we'll get some times and places figured out. I'll be leaving as early as possible to get there soon as possible. Got to try out the strip this year.

BTW the show is open to all makes and models of cars. It is a great group of people also.

Sorry for the lapse, been pretty crazy.

Finally got HVAC in house right (if that wadnt just in freaking time)
TA hasnt gone far but am moving along.
Myrtle,Bike Weeks, you two are fun but glad its done....were good to me this year so I def got work coming in.
workibg outta town again and its making really long days, so I been lil...late on the post...sorry, although im sure driving n posting isnt illegal yet...lmao

Any way, I took the time to type out a nice proposal, discription n basic outline...really likeibg the group and want to make this offical!
