Annual Central Florida F-Body Meet!! Date and Info!!!!
!!Gators Dockside presents the first F-Body Nation 2013 Meet&Greet!!


So its time that we all came together and see all of your projects!!! I have been in contact with F - Body Nation down south. They will be coming up for this meet, along with all there f-bodies from thier group F-Body Nation. The meet will be at Gators Dockside in Waterford Lakes on JULY 13th @5pm.This should give everybody plenty of time to take off and make plans. THERE WILL BE DISCOUNTS ON ALL FOOD A DRINKS INCLUDING BEER, along with a lot of other opportunities that GatorsDockside has offered F-Body Nation. ( Catering , Fundraising, Monthly- annually car shows ) we will have the option of catering the food and drinks out to the parking lot if that needs to be a option for less hassle for seating and what not.Like other meets in the past , it will be open to all muscle cars, and non riced imports. We are trying to have a meet and greet where we can all come together and just hang out with friends and car enthusiast and promote The new group F-Body Nation. We are all adults so We at F-body Nation feel that it is only right to act like civilized human beings. NO BURNOUTS ,NO REVING COMPETIONS, AND LEAVE THE TRASH TALK AT HOME!!!

We at F-Body Nation hope to see all of you guys come out and support the local and state F-body crowd. We will be posting this on all different LSX sites. i encourage you guys - and gals to do the same. spread the word and let everyone know that F-Body Nation is here!!

I hope to have my monster back on the road again for this, came close to destroying the 6speed, because of the mis-matched parts (McCleod mid-plate/T5 bellhousing/LS1 input shaft etc... ), have since aquired all the correct LT1 parts to do it right.

Anyone ever make plans and forget about them? Then you make other plans on the same day...only to remember later on that you had already made previous plans? I did that. The baby shower is going to be the 13th. Crap. I will do something car related again someday(I am having withdrawals.) On a good note, Danica Patrick better watch out. I think my girl is practicing her shifting by the way she is kicking.

Pauly, I sometimes go to the S. Lakeland area. I have a friend/co-worker with a 79 T/A and we sometimes meet up at the Winghouse south of Polk PKWY on 98. You should come out next time.

I blew the trans out of my turd back then, and since have been aquiring parts and have done a t56 swap, its together but not 100%, it will be at the orlando meet


There will be a group from tampa/lakeland meeting up at exit 32 I-4, and cruising over to waterford....
we will be meeting in the parking lot of GuitarCenters, which is just south of I-4 @300pm and rolling out @330p, with at least 1 or 2 cars being trailered.

Oh yes. You are right. I will be doing the door. Still in a debate about that. I really miss driving the car and it would be awesome to take the car out there. On the other hand the door is almost a must...I hate having it under the car port...will find out soon.

Hey folks. Thanks to Pauly01 for advising me about this event. I'll definitely try and attend with my 81 Trans Am. Looks like there were a few other GMs there that aren't f bodies. A friend of mine has an 80 Z28 that He would like to bring as well. If that car can't make it, would anyone be opposed to seeing his sweet 66 Cadillac convertible there?

Sooooooo, the date of the shower has changed. As of now I plan on attending, however, I won't have my car there. Sucks, was hoping to have it registered, insured, and cleaned up by then. This weather isn't helping any.

My Hex-Logic polishing pads should be here tomorrow so I can start to detail it! Will not be heading up there with the group coming out of Lakeland though. Instead, Evelyn wants to go to downtown Disney so we will head up there in the AM and meet you all there at 5pm.

I wasn't able to make it. Cooling fan is acting up. I took my son to see Michael Angelo Batio do a guitar clinic here in Lakeland. I got him to sign my guitar. So it was all good.

Very interested when the next meet will be though.
