Hey, I was wondering if anyone wanted to start doing monthly meet ups with our thirdgens in our area. Maybe even start a thirdgen club in the area. (Course, if you have a thirdgen, you are kind of in a club already). I know there are more than a couple folks in North West ga and around the Chattanooga area that love their cars, so anyone game?

I'm so late on this, but this sounds like an awesome idea. I would really love to meet up with fellow third gen owners. I'm in NW GA, around Cartersville, but I don't mind driving as long as it's not over an hour away (paying for gas in a v8 is no fun!). :-)

Cool man, I'll have my engine and stuff done soon, paint in a few months. I figured if there are cruises, cruse ins, or whatever that everyone in the area wanted to go to, we could all meet up before hand and Caravan on in. That, and if anyone needs help or an extra set of hands to wrench sometime, it'd be nice to have a couple local folks that have your back.

Sounds great to me. I love helping with cars, too... and I often need the help since I have a project that loves being difficult lol. I'll ask around and see if I can find any one else who'll be interested. Just let me know when, because I'm down.

Hey, we PM'ed the other day. I've just had back surgery, and as soon as my car gets road worthy, and I recover enough to drive, I think I'd be cool talk about getting some kind of local enthusiast group together.

I can't count how many times I'd have liked help pulling a tranny, or removing my motor.

That's ok, my car isn't here yet anyway. besides, It's been a little too cold around here lately to want to do anything, although I am loving this Georgia weather so far (I am from Buffalo, NY). Let's keep in touch, we'll get some people together some day.

If you guys are talking early Spring there is a group of atleast a dozen TGO guys a bunch of other 3rd gen guys that go to fbodygathering.com in Marietta on Memorial Day weekend. It is technically a car show but more of a party than anything. Usually 2-300 cars and this is probably the last year (20th) so it should be really big. You all should come out, doesn't have to be show cars, just more of a good time than anything.


Night Rider I need a manual trans boot and Camaro shifter plate along with clutch and brake pedals. Maybe a 3rd gen aluminum drive shaft if you have one? You always have CL ads up in Bowden right?

Yes Sir, I'm the guy with 50+ third gen CL ads up in Bowdon.

I have all of the parts you need but some are in limbo, until I can get the car running. I have a 92 z28 305 TPI 5 speed. RPO codes shows it has an alum. driveshaft and posi drum brake rear. Engine will fire up and run for 2-3 seconds then die. I need to get the car running and test out the engine and trans before I make car in opt.
