Re: 4th gen seats free to good home
Nice deal, new to 3rd gens, own a 1972 Z28 and 02 Z28. Never was fan of the 4th gen till I drove the LS1.
Had custom 80 Z28 in my 20s. Worked a technical field service job for 10+yrs and drove 93 Ranger 4l, 5sp. Got 300k+ miles and found a grezt deal on 4th gen and was hoomed basic bolt ons and run 12.7 @ 108 all day long. At about 130k on it now. It is my dd.
Brought my son a 3rdgen because he likes the body and it drives great with 143k and needs work. He has about a year. I digress and apologize. The 4 th gen seat are more comfortable then my recaros in my 10 cts-v.
My question is how easy to put the 4th seats in?. Yes I am reading the site any chance I get. I have found a lot of info and help from some members. Brought a major already from a memeber and it was in great shape.
Sorry to ramble on. It bump for the saler

they are a direct bolt in. The fourth gen seat tracks can be used or the seats removed and bolted to the third gen seat tracks. the fourth gen seats will sit a hair lower, maybe an inch (i've never measured it but it is noticeable)

I've no experience with the rear seats but have read that some finagling is required.

no rears, no brackets, no shoulder belt loops, just the fronts
