Re: any third gen clubs near Raleigh
Used to be two big clubs in NC. Triad F body out of Greensboro and Carolina F Body out of Raleigh. .....Everyone kinda grew up, got married, bought houses and had kids! LOL.... Many of us still keep in touch in various different forums, but no organized clubs anymore. Not that I'm aware of anyway.
***Edit....I don't mean "grew up" in a bad way. Nothing wrong with clubs.

Yeah, we're all still around!
The irony of how our club (Triad F Body) ended was that it ultimately was killed by Facebook. Some new guy posted up about how he'd start a FB page for us and I said I didn't want him to because it was kill the club. ....6 months later, someone did...and we didn't last more than a month or two. Facebook was soooo easy for everyone. But it sucks for actual conversation back and forth.Plus even if you set your page to private, how do you tell which new member are serious and who just wanna join to join. Next thing you know we had hundreds of worthless members just trolling and talking crap. I don't think we had 3 or 4 more bi-monthly cruise ins after the page launched. I mean in the scope of it being up and running for almost 10 years, the death was almost instant.
