Any Mechanics to tighten steering column?

Heres the story. My steering wheel column got loose a week ago and today i was driving to work and stop at an intersection and a black crow flew and stop on top of my roof. i was like wtf and i took off and i started hearing a horn go off. i ignored it and then reliezed it was my camaro. i had to pull over because every time i turn the steering wheel my horn would go off. no my turn signals are all messed up, they go on when i make a turn. i hear something cracking asnd grinding when i turn the wheel. what really got me is that black crow. i was going to tighten the column myself but i figured its a pain in the butt, i dont have all the tools. i live in a apartment complex and i would prefer to take it to a mechanic shop some where in the east valley. anyone know a good and cheap mechanic shop that would fix my column? or if someone would be willing to help me out in the chandler area i would appreciate it.

Hey. That problem you are having is not hard to fix. I will involve removing the steering wheel and finding out what came loose. I have the tools to do this you need help. A few of us are going to Scottsdale Pavillions this weekend and are meeting up before and trying to figure out a no start problem for 92WhiteZ28. Welcome to join us and possibly get this problem taken care of without paying shop prices.

When I did this job on my '87 IROC, I documented all the step with photos. If you'd like the illustrated how-to with instructions, let me know and I'll email it to you. Be aware it is not a simple job, mainly because all the parts are weirdly shaped and fit together densely, layer-by-layer ... the first time can be a hair-puller!

Hey. I will call you when we are meeting and where. I will bring tools. I have the T-30 socket and will bring that too. Will also need a T-20 and T-25. I have those as well. Will bring all the tools needed for this job as long as you bring the puller.
