Anybody looking for a good deal on a 4th gen LS1 auto in Az/Utah?
I came across an ad on Craigslist this morning for a wrecked 2000 SS camaro with an LS1 and auto transmission. He said he will take $2000 for the whole car. Claims it still starts and drives, but the hood, driver fender, and windshield are toast. It said manual in his ad originally so I jumped on it to buy to do the swap for my 88, but then he told me it's an automatic, so I am uninterested now. But for somebody else looking to do a swap, this is the perfect deal for one. 185k miles on it he says and runs good. For $2000 you get the complete car. Generally, a wrecked 4th gen LS1 comes up for sale under $3000 only a few times a year and they go quick. This guy is located in St George which is AZ/Utah border by the grand canyon.
