Dyno Don set me up with a set of Pro 220cc heads.

With the short block done the heads are now a work in progress and I hope to have them done in the next week or two.

You probably should mention the dark area is blueing so you can scripe the gasket pattern on the head ( just for the uninformed).

This is probably as close as I'll ever get to a Rodeck. BTW, isn't Rodeck the company that takes a 375 pound solid block of aluminum and then machines out about 175 pounds of it to make the block?

The top fuel blocks start from a 375 pound round bar and than forged in a 8,000 ton press with a three strike die set before the CNC machines cut it down to 175 pounds.

My block is a cast block and it tips the scale at 96 pounds

Is this going to be a Fuel Injected engine or Carb'd?

Just wondering if the gear drive will affect the knock sensor, I've heard they can play havoc.

It's 6.7 liters and the HP will be in the high 500s NA and low 800s with the nitrous.

Geez, talk about bringing a post back up from the dead. What possessed you to do that??

It'll be a TPI engine and it will pass CA smog.

how is that going to be a TPI with a gear drive? i thought computer controlled engines couldnt use the gear drive because of the knock sensor.
