Bought another 3rd gen....

I bought my 6th F-body ever (all Camaros ) and 5th 3rd gen this past Sunday. This one is just pretty much just a rolling chassis. I had to swap in an extra rear end I had just to get it rolling.

It's a Black 1991 Z28. Along with the drivetrain missing it does not have the Z28 hood but pretty much everything else is there. The plan is to remove the exterior pieces I need for my 91 Z and then pending some DMV research the chassis is going to used for a 'Stealth' drag racing project.

Pending the resolution of the issues at the DMV I would expect to see this car at California Speedway running soon in less than 8 weeks!

I picked the car up in El Paso del Robles from Jason A - AKA RU-QWIK. That was a fun cruise.

Big thanks to Randy Lindamood (Rusty's youngest brother) for making the pick up possible.

There might be some goodies for sale from the car, it came with some aftermarket springs, shocks, and struts, also if the DMV issues are too much to deal with there will be lots additional will items will be up for grabs: High Rise spoiler, tail lights, fog lights, bowtie grill, gutted disc brake rear end, complete gray interior - so get your wish lists together now and let me know if you want dibs for anything should they become available.

Right on Randy.. Good luck with Dmv so you can build it how you really want..

I like the Black Z you have.. pretty nice.. a 401 stroker with a t-56 sure would be my goal

Thanks Branden, that's why I wanted a couple pieces to really clean the car up

I am hoping to clean up the IROC soon and get her running even better.

Sounds cool.. Yeah the rims really did the trick.. They look sharp.. Then the interior you hit it there also.. Looks real good..

So now you have plenty of Camaro's to keep your hands full..

Yeah I definitely plan on keeping to only two Camaros at a time, especially when dealing with 3rd gens. Don't get me wrong I love the cars, it's just that the maintenance isn't cheap and you have to keep your eye on them.

I think the Snypers look much better on the Z than on the IROC. Especially since I love the way IROCs look I just couldn't keep it with the Snypers I had to go back to the dual line IROCs.
