SC3G Club Meeting this Saturday & Picnic Talk
This Saturday, June 9th, will be our June SC3G.org club meeting at Ricky & Ronnie's Diner in Torrance. We'll be arriving about 5:30pm and meeting starts at 6pm.

We'll discuss the June 2nd racing at Famoso, I'll bring the videos to show on the screen, and any other show'n'tell you guys bring with you.
For our Bar-B-Q Picnic at Mile Square Park this year, I am thinking Saturday July 14th. That is the 2nd Saturday of July. Does that date work for most of us?

I have bad news and good news. The bad news is, the restaurant switched to computerized appointments, and our schedule got put in on Fridays instead of Saturdays. So they booked the diner for someone else this Saturday and again in August. They have no other Saturdays available in June or August. They are going to put us in the patio instead for our meeting, which is the "outside" part of the main restaurant where we have eaten before. That means we wont have the TV. Also, we will have to park in the restaurant parking lot, not the diner lot. The good news is, they are going to give us 25% off our dinner those days, and best of all, our December dinner is now completely free, except for the tip. The Saturday schedule has been fixed for October and December and beyond.

Who is going to be there this Saturday? Will we have room to park?

11th is good.
I'm also going to Fontana! This time, I promise not to lift before I cross the finish line.

My plan right now is to go to Fontana to drive my truck and act as pit crew again. Also, August 11 works for me.

Sure, August 11th sounds good.
I will try to be there tomorrow night. I seriously need to wash the dust off the GTA and drive it again. It will depend on how my Saturday goes.

Re: SC3G Club Meeting this Saturday & Picnic Talk
I noticed nobody posted anything about it so just to let those who were at the meeting know...
The group that went racing (myself, Allen, Alex, Don, Kevin and Russ) were unable to make the meeting. Don had car trouble and we all stayed to pitch in. The time was not wasted as Alex stayed to do the brackets! Way to go Alex!
Overall the track was OK for Fontana (but not as nice as Famoso last week.) Some people got new best times! We all had a good time, I hope, aside from the technical difficulties.
That's all I have to say about it for now!
PS what happened at R&R ?

Re: SC3G Club Meeting this Saturday & Picnic Talk
We had 3 cars, about 8 people show up. I guess the Picknic will be at Mile Sq park in July something, I'm a Tard, so I don't remember the date (Lon, someone please post). We basically just had dinner and joked around with each other, didn't do much business but had fun.
