Santa Monica/L.A. Mechanic?

Santa Monica/L.A. Mechanic?
Looking for some recommendations for front end work on my 1990 Iroc vert. Steering is getting pretty loose and no longer feels safe driving. Any suggestions for honest, high-quality diagnostic and repair work. Close to S.M. or West LA.
Thanks,
Larry G.

Hi 84 1LE,
I have had Morgan work on my car years ago when he was at Grandview garage in Culver City. I called and they said out of business and no idea where he is. Any idea what the name of his shop is in Venice? Would like to get a hold of him.
Thanks, Larry G

Hi,
No luck in tracking down Morgan or getting any info on WLA mechanics who could do front end work on my car. Anyone out there with suggestions.

I dunno, but I'm in the exact same situation as you. Probably going to buy the parts online and have someone do the installation. It's pretty basic stuff, so any competent mechanic should be able to handle it.

I've heard great things about this place from a few neighbors...

Until I hear otherwise, I'll most likely be bringing my car there for regular work (unless its something really thirdgen specific).

Hi Morgan,
Are you saying my third gen is not classic enough for you these days? Good to hear you are still in town. I'm not a Facebook user. What's the name of the shop your working out of?
Thanks, Larry
