2018 Dyno day

My old 15lb N2O tank has been recerted and filled. I checked all the things to ensure the system is working. Time for a rear wheel HP check.

Who's up for a Dyno day?

Re: 2018 Dyno day

I got lucky yesterday. After a spirited traction test a local Sheriff pulled up next to me, shook his finger at me and yelled slow down. I was wearing the mullit viser with the t-tops off so he might of got a chuckle.

Last edited by Dwayne88IROC; 12-14-2017 at 11:10 PM. Reason: why is mullit getting ******'d out?

I'm thinking of the 24th to give people 2 more weeks to get ready.

GotChevy, yes spectators are welcome.

What time do you usually have your dyno testing? I would like to go but I have a dentist appointment at 9am till about 10am. Always curious to see how much power my car is producing.

Re: 2018 Dyno day

Ok, we're all set up with Mark for Saturday the 24th at 9:00am.

http://markdibella.com/

MD Automotive
7281 Westminster Blvd
Westminster CA 92683

Cost is $80 per car. Everyone is welcome to come and watch.

If you want to dyno your car, post up and let me know. I can tune any 86-92 TPI engine.

Bring a chair to sit on, and some drinks or snacks. We're usually there until 4pm or so. After the dyno we'll go to a local restaurant and have dinner.

For those dynoing, make sure you check over your car, the water and oil levels, etc. Dynoing your car puts different stresses on it than just driving it around town. All testing is done at your own risk.

Re: 2018 Dyno day

Thank you Kevin for setting this up.
How many pulls do we get for $80? I would like to do a run with out nitrous and a run with small nitrous jets and one with larger jets. I will need to reset the timing for the larger jets.

If you're Vincent you can pretty much hog the dyno all day.

But it depends on how many cars we get and how long it will take to get them all done. You'll get at least an hour, possibly 90 minutes.
