New to the family
Greetings everyone on the forum. I am new to the forum and glad to be apart of the 3rd gen family. I have a 87 Z28 with a 5.7 standard 4" bore block. So far my upgrades are as follow: Afr1040 heads, 1.6 roller rockers, 24 lb. Hr injectors, holly hookers comp headers, summit 58mm bore throttle body, gear drive cam and crank set, with an Inski cam( .570 max valve lift). The bottom end is pretty much stock, and the transmission has a B&M transmit, with an external oil cooler. Can anyone give some pointers as to anything I might be missing to bring to the development of my engine project. I have intermediate mechanical training. In addition to, I have been researching this project for about 10 years. However, any other advice or insights would be much appreciated. Thank you everyone.

Re: New to the family
Isn't the gear drive going to raise hell with the knock sensor?

As far as the gear driven issue with the knock sensor. Was told by the technicians at jegs performance is that I would have no issues. I can reference the part number if you like.
