As most of you have heard by now, I am going to retire at the end of the year.
If anyone would be interested in taking over, I am open to all offers.
I would be willing to train anyone willing to learn.
Also.... I will be selling a lot of my 3rd gen parts.

re: Dyno Don's shop closing 2019
Hey Dyno Don, I need some guidance and I know you have been on this forum for many years. I messaged you several years ago on how tongo about my build, so finally I am athe end up cranking it up, but i do need some guidance on the c100 connector. Is not really clear to me on the whole color diagram. I can read the pins from the actual C100 connector but to where the actual connection goes that where I get lost since it's not laveled specifically to where it's going. Do you have any information for me? Its a complete EDM delete just trying to run the dizzy new alternator, and starter. As far as the fuel pump and radiator fan I can get a controller and just splice the fuel line to a 12v connection. Set up is a carb system.

Don is going to retire in September when the lease is up. If you want headers, get your order in NOW.
If there is anyone willing to take over the shop and/or the business. please speak up. I would hate to lose out on all this equipment and a shop to work on our cars.

Re: Dyno Don's shop
Always hate to read of a valued business going out. Even with retirement, still don't like to hear.
But run an ad in a business journal, or even on the local CraigsList. Someone will buy it, if there's real value.

re: Dyno Don's shop closing 2019
My dyno dons headers have been great for these past 8 years. awesome fit and finish. top quality work. thanks again Don. congrats on the retirement, but the thirdgen community is going to suffer a loss when you retire. best of luck.
question for you: Do you make a 1 7/8" primary tube header for gen 1 sbc into a 3rd gen? specifically for a dart shp block and dart pro heads? I know you make 1 5/8" and 1 3/4" but wasnt sure if you had (or could make) mid length 1 7/8" pipes to a 3" collector? I am having a really tough time finding something that might work for my already LOW 1987 camaro. if you make them, please lt me know. if you don't, but do know of someone who I should look into, please let me know. All I can find is custom ones from Ed Quay of lemons. big $ too. would certainly love to have a huge set of DynoDon's headers on the new upcoming 406 nitrous engine !!

re: Dyno Don's shop closing 2019
wow, I feel like a dope! I could have sworn that I had him make me a set of 1 5/8" headers all those years ago.. but I guess I am wrong.Last night, I went out and measured the OUTSIDE diameter of the tube/pipe and the OD is 1 3/4". Maybe I had read somewhere that the inside diameter is close to 1 5/8"..and I somehow got that in my head and it stuck for all these years? my fault. So yes, I currently have the 1 3/4" OD diameter DynoDon's headers... which is GREAT....but probably wont be enough for the new engine combination coming this winter... 525hp plus 200 of nitrous. hmmm probably would be enough for the motor N/A but not enough when on the juice

re: Dyno Don's shop closing 2019
I have a lot of good parts that need a new home.
i would hate to throw all this stuff out.
Let me know what you might need.
Motors, transmissions, manifolds, wheels, brake parts, etc.

3" mandrel bent y-pipe for an '89 L98 that will work with OEM manifolds and a Walker 15622 without modification?
Sorry to hear that you're closing up, but I think you've earned your retirement.

Any gently used Koni yellow struts? I haven't been able to bring myself to cough up the dough for new ones yet.

No y-pipes for manifolds
