What's my car worth nowadays?

I'm seeing some crazy prices. My car is a driver but it is clean with fresh paint and clean title.

I get people coming up to me all the time asking if the car is for sale. Any opinions on what its worth? I have no idea.

Red 89 IROC Convertible. I am the fourth owner, 120,000 miles, unmodified except for subframe connectors and a Delco-Bose head unit (1980s) with an aux-in hooked to a Rockford Fosgate Punch 150 :-), and cleanly installed door speakers. Everything works except the cruise control.

The engine has pretty much been refreshed down to the valve stem seals and timing chain but the long block is unopened. It does not "consume" large amounts of oil or coolant. Shocks and other stuff done. 3:42s put in the rear and rear end bearing seals done. The car has been weened onto all synthetics and no leaks (Mobil 1 10W-30 and Mobil 1 ATF flush and fill). Steering box and flex joint replaced.

It has been repainted the factory red (a nice job) and interior is clean but not perfect by any means. There are four dents/dings around the car. Rims need a polish/clean up but paint is good. Decals and badges are in good shape. Top is black, window pretty clear, and works marginally well.

There are a few things to tackle (top adjustment, steering is still too floaty, engine peculiarities) but it pretty much runs great.

You can check the NADA website for the "collector" value, it's in a separate section from the typical "dealer" values, so make sure you're on the "collector" page. That'll give you a rough estimate. Right now Iroc numbers are booming. Being a convertible could either help or hurt depending on the buyer. Ultimately a "fair" price comes down to what you are comfortable accepting, and the buyer is comfortable with giving. Aside from the mileage it sounds like a decent car, speaking in generalities I'd feel comfortable saying it's worth $10+ pretty easy. To get more specific you'd have to share a bunch of pics. Even then you'll probably get a wide range of opinions. FWIW.
